London's Natural Features.
London is known for its cutting-edge culture and attractions, such as the London Eye, as well as for its many historical sites and theatre district, but there is another side to the city found in its wonderful hidden natural attractions. Uncommon throughout the boroughs of London are parks, ponds, and green ways that date back centuries and which continue to draw visitors interested in taking a break from the hustle and excitement of the city.

Virginia Water, The Valley Gardens, River Themes- As one of the most visible natural attractions in London, the River Thames has both historic and natural importance to the area. With countless bridges passing over the river, it is easy for visitors to view the water, or perhaps to board a tourist barge for a tour of the sights
There are 110 Local Nature Reserves in London and 9 Royal Parks. Richmond Park is the most visited National Nature Reserve in England. London consists of six strategic walking routes that link a number of green sites these include: the Capital Ring, The Green Chain, Jubilee Walkway, Lea Valley Walk, the London Loop and the Thames Path.
London boasts many natural areas thorughout the city that are open for visitors to visit all year. These are for example Kilally Meadows, Meadowlily Woods, Medway Valley Heritage Forest, Sifton Bog, Warbler Woods, and Westminster Ponds.
